DLDSS-390 is an original digital hypercar concept<\/strong> created by TheAndroidAPK<\/strong>. It runs an AWD hybrid setup under a full carbon fiber body, the top speed target is 390 km\/h, and it carries a mechanic called Drift Pulse that doesn’t exist on anything else. The proportions come out of arcade racing rather than road cars, and the year on it is 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The whole thing started as something expected to throw away. There was a folder of maybe thirty shapes I’d been messing around with and most of those got deleted inside a week, but this one kept looking right whenever opened it again, so it stayed and eventually turned into the car I’m writing about here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The model is finished now. Not a drawing or a rough block-out, a proper 3D model with the geometry sorted, and getting it into a playable state is what I’m working toward from here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before anyone asks, because someone always does, this isn’t a leak. It didn’t come out of anybody’s unreleased build, there’s no hidden folder involved and nobody datamined anything. I made the car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That’s twelve lines and it’s the entire permanent record for this car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carbon Fiber All The Way Through, Not Carbon Panels Over A Frame<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The body is full carbon fiber, and mean the whole body rather than composite panels bolted over a steel frame, because that shortcut is what a lot of designs fall back on when they want the look without paying for it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Weight is the reason for going that way, you can’t chase 390 km\/h while hauling around metal you don’t need, and whatever the body doesn’t weigh is weight the battery gets to spend instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The composite is also specified as heat resistant and fire resistant<\/strong>, and I know how that reads, but there’s a reason it’s on the sheet. You’ve got a large battery pack sitting alongside a combustion unit and both of them are throwing off heat while the car is flat out, and heat is what breaks cars like this, so the body has to be able to take it without help from anywhere else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carbon hypercars are not new and I’m not going to sit here pretending I invented one. What I haven’t seen anywhere else is this particular combination inside a single car, a full carbon body together with fire rated composite, a battery that size, staged aero and Drift Pulse sitting on top of the lot. That combination is mine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What Drift Pulse Does, And What It Refuses To Give You<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Every arcade racer needs one mechanic that belongs to the car rather than to the game around it, and for this one it’s Drift Pulse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Drift Pulse<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If you hold a long slide, the hybrid system takes that side load and feeds it into the electric front axle instead of letting it bleed away, and then when you come out of the drift cleanly it hands the whole lot back to you as a short shove forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tap the handbrake and bail out early and you get nothing at all, because there was never anything stored to give back in the first place. What it does in practice is reward the driver who holds the angle about a second longer than feels comfortable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Powertrain Underneath It<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

It’s an AWD hybrid<\/strong> and the character leans electric. The front axle runs electric, the rear runs a combined setup, and the battery is considerably larger than something this size would usually carry, and that’s the only reason Drift Pulse can work as a real mechanic rather than a light show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Working out how big to make it sent me off reading about how battery capacity<\/a> gets measured and reported in the first place, and it turns out to be about as much of a mess there as it is with phones. I came back with a number I’m happy enough with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are no visible exhaust tips<\/strong> anywhere on the car. Combustion output still exists, it just runs through the underbody and exits inside the diffuser instead of out the back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

People are going to look at the rear of it and call it an EV, and I don’t particularly mind that. Mechanically it’s a hybrid and the badge says so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Four-Stage Active Aero<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Four positions, and it snaps between them rather than sliding smoothly from one to the next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That’s a screen decision more than an engineering one. Spend enough time with mobile gaming<\/a> and you pick this up without anybody explaining it to you, because on a small screen at speed a wing that jumps is something you can actually see happen, while one that eases between positions reads as nothing at all. A real aerodynamicist would almost certainly do it the other way round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

390 km\/h Is The Ceiling And The Aero Has To Survive It<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The number came first and then the car got built around it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That’s backwards from how manufacturers work and completely normal in arcade racing, where a car is a feeling before it’s a machine. Once 390<\/strong> was locked in, the body had to earn it, so the diffuser runs full width and the aero ended up with four stages instead of two, and all of that came out of one number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So what’s the 0-100 time?<\/strong> There isn’t one and I’m not publishing one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Acceleration figures are easy to invent, and inventing one is the quickest way to start a spec sheet argument nobody ever wins. The number that matters for this car is 390 km\/h in a race<\/strong>. Everything else is waiting on the physics config and that work is going on right now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durability means something narrower in a digital car than it does on a road. It means the thing has to read as capable of the speed you’re asking of it. With a body this wide, a battery this heavy and that much download on the rear, it should sit planted through long corners and feel stubborn turning in, and if it comes out twitchy then something has gone wrong somewhere. None of that is a thought experiment anymore now the model is finished. If it reaches a playable state and still feels light at 300, the config is wrong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
