Glow Block Puzzle

Samurai Love Ballad: PARTY is a text adventure in the otome subgenre where you're transported back to a small village in medieval wartime Japan to play a young woman who, throughout chapters that narrate her life, has to make decisions that will take her far from home – or end her life.

The gameplay in Samurai Love Ballad: PARTY is quite simple: first you've got to pick which book you want to read. At this point – and after giving a name and age to your character – the adventure starts. There will be times when you have to pick your answer (or even literally write what you want your character to say). Which characters you meet is determined by the decisions you make.

Another interesting thing about Samurai Love Ballad: PARTY is that as you move through the stories, you get points that let you customize your character by buying clothes and accessories. Plus you can change the look of the samurais that come to court you. Finally, you'll face off against one group or another depending on which samurai or ninja clan you've chosen.

Samurai Love Ballad: PARTY is an otome with extraordinary production values and a narrative richness that's far above average. A good option for lovers of text adventures.
