GoTube

GoTube is an app that allows you to play videos on YouTube. The app offers many additional features not found in the official one. You can choose the quality from 240p, 360p, 720p, 1080p, 1440p and 2160p, enable subtitles, change the speed range between 0.25x and 3x, avoid ads, enable replay, force the video to adapt to the screen, send to Chromecast, speed up the silent parts of videos, or open the video in a browser or the official YouTube app. The only thing it doesn't do is download videos.

GoTube allows you to listen to music in the background if you are using other apps or have the device screen off. To activate this option, you need to give permission to the app to overlay on top of others, which is a fairly sensitive permission.

As soon as you open the app, you will find five sections at the top: Featured Content, Popular, Music, Gaming and Movies. In all of them you will find the most popular content. Another benefit GoTube offers compared to other players is the ability to log in to your YouTube account, as well as manage your own channel.

Therefore, if you are looking for an alternative app to YouTube to watch videos that provides additional features, do not hesitate to download the APK of GoTube.
