Description of Kong
Kong is a Vine-style social network that lets you create and share GIFs with all your friends in a matter of seconds. The idea, basically, is to replace the typical selfie with a short GIF that can express a whole lot more.
The first thing that stands out about Kong is the meticulous user interface, which combines a colorful design with really simple options. From the main tab, you can see the latest GIFs created by your friends alongside their thumbnail images. You can touch the screen and start recording your own GIF and slide from left to right to change the filter.
The rest of the interface lets you filter your search by hashtag, post your GIFs on different social networks like Twitter or Facebook, and create private channels to send them to your friends.
Kong is a social network with a lot of potential that lets you create and share GIFs of yourself in just a few seconds. Only time will tell if the user base makes it a great application or just a footnote in Android's ecosystem.
