Description of My Earthquake Alerts
My Earthquake Alerts is an app that sends real-time alerts for earthquakes and aftershocks around the world.
This Android app has a simple interface so you can quickly check for the latest earthquakes around the world at a glance. My Earthquake Alerts requires access to your location, but this is only to keep you better informed and not to sell your data to third parties.
As soon as you open My Earthquake Alerts, you'll see a map of the world with marks indicating the latest earthquakes, as well as a list of the same. Simply select the location of any earthquake to see more details on its severity. My Earthquake Alerts includes the Richter scale rating for each earthquake and aftershock, and it even explains what each degree means. For example, a 3.9 on the Richter scale means that the earthquake was felt but there was little damage. It also includes the depth of the earthquake, which is important information, as well.
But that's not all. Additionally, My Earthquake Alerts provides information on the magnitude of the waves, which is essential data for anyone who is at sea or lives on a coast.
